🌀 Course Overview
This 5-week course is designed to introduce you to — or help you refine — the foundational techniques of wheel throwing. You’ll learn to create functional and beautiful ceramic forms while working in a relaxed and inspiring studio environment.
Spots available: Only 4 participants per class — ensuring you receive plenty of personal guidance and support to start or deepen your wheel throwing journey.

Session Breakdown
Session 1 – Basic Throwing Techniques
Learn how to center clay and throw the most essential ceramic form: the cylinder.
Session 2 – Trimming & Throwing Practice
Trim your pieces from Session 1, refining their shapes and adding foot rings or details. After trimming, continue practicing your throwing.
Session 3 – Developing Your Skills
Trim your new pieces and advance your throwing skills. Learn to create another essential shape — the bowl.
Session 4 – Trimming, Handles & Decoration
Trim your bowls and mugs, attach handles, and experiment with slip decoration. By the end of this session, your favorite pieces will be ready for bisque firing.
Session 5 – Glazing
Explore different glaze options and learn how to glaze your bisque-fired pieces to finish your ceramic creations.
Note: The last 30 minutes of each session are dedicated to cleaning the wheels.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get a bit messy. Long fingernails make throwing difficult — short nails are highly recommended.

- All materials (unlimited clay, underglazes, glazes, etc.)
- Firing and glazing of your finished pieces

Pickup:
Your finished, glazed pieces will be ready for pickup 2–4 weeks after the final session.

- Full refund available within 24 hours of purchase.
- After 24 hours, bookings are binding (also in case of absence).
- If a class is cancelled, you will receive a voucher for a future course.
